MKPAT ENIN STAKEHOLDERS CONDOLE GOV ENO, FAMILY
As sympathisers continue to identify with the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, and family, stakeholders of Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, the Governor’s in-laws, have condoled with him and family over the demise of his wife, their daughter.
Speaking on behalf of the team, leader of the delegation, Senator Ekong Sampson, said, “we are here today as your in-law. Our sister is gone but still much alive. We thank you our dear in-law as someone who is very procedural. You came to Mkpat Enin to show us respect to tell us your wife is gone. Today, everyone from Mkpat Enin is here, we came to show you respect and mourn with you sir.”
He assured that Mkpat Enin, as in-laws, will continue to stand by the Governor, and support him through the home going ceremonies, his administration and beyond.
Responding, the political leader of Nsit Ubium, Senator Effiong Bob, said the late First Lady was a very good woman, humble and cheerful, and appreciated the people of Mkpat Enin for the visit.
Governor Eno equally appreciated them for the visit, saying, “I thank all Mkpat Enin stakeholders for your support. What you’ve done shows that you value what God gave to you. I am so touched. The other day I came to Mkpat Enin, I promised that nothing will stop the good works that God wants to do for Mkpat Enin people.”
He equally appreciated the women and all for their support, prayers, and reaffirmed that he will continue to give them a right of place in his administration.
