FMR GOV UDOM EMMANUEL REAFFIRMS SUPPORT FOR GOV UMO ENO

Immediate past Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, has condoled with his successor, Governor Umo Eno and family, assuring him of his continuous support through grieving and joyful seasons.

Speaking during his condolence visit to the family, Mr Emmanuel, accompanied by the wife, Dr. (Mrs) Martha Udom Emmanuel, and other members of the family, he said he came with his family members to commiserate with the Governor.

Making reference to Job 14:1, he said, “Man that is born of a woman is of few days,” and urged the Governor to be consoled by the good legacies of the deceased First Lady.

In his remarks, the Governor appreciated Mr Emmanuel and family for the visit, saying, “this visit is a further testimony and proof of the love of God in your heart both for me as a person and for my family. We are deeply encouraged by this visit, prayers and support.”

He also appreciated everyone who had accompanied him for the visit, and expressed hope that God will continue to sustain the love and bond between the two families.
